How We Helped
Our Children's Needs Program: A Lifeline for Our Youth
We provided vital support to youth and their foster and kinship families by assisting with essential needs such as clothing, rental assistance, and food. Beyond meeting immediate necessities, we also ensured they had the resources to thrive and experience the joys of childhood—funding after-school activities, supplying school materials, and furnishing their homes to create a stable and nurturing environment.
Our Comfort Closet
Youth, advocates, and families also had access to our Comfort Closet, a one-stop resource for children in care, advocates, foster and kinship families, case managers and youth who have aged out of the system. Stocked with toys, essential supplies, and dignity items, the Comfort Closet provides much-needed support to help meet children’s physical, social, and emotional needs. From July to December, hygiene products were the most requested and distributed items, highlighting the ongoing need for hygiene drives and donations.

Spreading Joy: 2024 Holiday Toy Drive
The holiday season should be magical for every child, and thanks to you, we made it possible! We collected over 7,500 items (including toys, games, gift cards, self care items, and more), through 28 holiday drives. This helped brighten the holidays for hundreds of children in foster care.
