Voices For Children Foundation (VFC) hosted its 27th Annual Be A Voice Gala at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami on Jan.6 at 7 p.m. 

Chaired by Jeffrey & Yolanda Berkowitz, Gabriela Ibarra, and Ron Goncalves

The Mandarin Oriental has hosted the annual Be A Voice fundraising gala since its opening in 2000. Voices For Children Foundation is grateful for the longstanding support and partnership of the Mandarin Oriental Miami and Swire Properties. 

This year's sold-out gala welcomed 500 community leaders, child advocates, elected officials, Board members, and sponsors who celebrated “The Magic of Partnerships.” This year's theme underscored the importance of coalescing the community to protect children in the foster care system in Miami-Dade County who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment.

The black-tie event included a silent and live auction, featuring a curated selection of art from local creators, services, gift cards to South Florida's finest restaurants, travel opportunities and luxurious items for sale.
