Alberto Jaen is a writer from Madrid. He has been living in the US since 2010 and has won 20+ international advertising awards as a Copy Writer and Executive Creative Director. He has worked in the advertising industry for over 20 years, among others, for Absolut, Johnson & Johnson, Olympus, P&G, Pepsi, Toyota, IKEA, and Orange Telecom at three of the biggest American advertising agencies: BBDO, Leo Burnett, and JWT NY. Before building his own social impact company, plus305, he was also a Jury Member at the New York Festival and AdStars Asia twice. He holds a B.A. in Advertising & PR.

Alberto is passionate about storytelling and humanization through powerful stories. In the last 21 years, he has worked for big causes and organizations around the world inspiring them to tell their story in an impactful way. He is the Co-Founder of the Zero Waste App, Hula, which won the Circular Economy Challenge of the UN in New York in 2020 and was donated to those most in need, especially during Covid. Also in 2022, he won the ‘Talk About Heat Challenge’, organized by the WHITE HOUSE and the U.S. environmental protection agency. He also is the associate producer of the feature film “Vera” (2023), and the writer of the short movie “Lights Up” (in the pre- production phase).
