Experiences
The experiences we have as children — and the memories they give us — are so important to our development as human beings. Voices for Children specializes in memory-making. We aim to create rich experiences for children in foster care that deliver both a sense of normalcy and a chance to dream beyond their tough circumstances.
We need your help to make sure that kids in foster care can have happier childhoods. Your donation will help create all of these magical experiences: birthday parties, summer camp, class trips, family vacations, special events, prom, college tours, and anything else we can dream up!
2024 Blue Mission Trip to Dominican Republic
For the second year, our team partnered with BLUE Missions and Genesis Hopeful Haven to take 17 youth in foster care on a transformative experience. Together, they built latrines for a local community, in Cambiaso, Dominican Republic, fostering a sense of community and overcoming challenges. They learned the importance of teamwork, resilience, and gratitude, even in difficult circumstances.
