Patricia Abaroa is the Manager of Marketing & Communications for Voices for Children.

She is a seasoned communications professional with over 15 years of experience in child welfare. Throughout her career, she's worked tirelessly to improve the lives of children in the foster care system; her passion lies in amplifying their stories and inspiring support. As a freelance writer for over a decade, she has used her expertise to raise awareness about social issues impacting vulnerable populations throughout the world.

Before joining the Voices for Children team, she worked with Miami-Dade's Guardian ad Litem Office, recruiting community volunteers to advocate for children in care and spreading the word about the Office's efforts and impact.

She enjoys discovering new restaurants and spending time with her cats in her free time.
