Latrice was born and raised in Miami, where her passion for helping others took root at an early age. Her lifelong commitment to service began to take shape in high school when she enrolled in an Advanced Placement Psychology course. The experience sparked a deep interest in understanding human behavior and supporting emotional well-being—an interest that quickly grew into a calling.
For more than 25 years, Latrice has devoted herself to the nonprofit sector, serving in impactful roles at outstanding non-profit organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA, Head Start, Healthy Start and the Urban League. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening families, empowering youth, and promoting access to resources, quality educational experiences, and opportunities. In her spare time, Latrice enjoys reading, dancing, and singing. Deeply committed to the well-being of children and families in South Florida, Latrice believes her purpose on earth is to uplift, support, and help others thrive and heal. Her work reflects not only her professional expertise but also her unwavering dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
