Adult Education
Florida’s adult education system helps people build essential skills to succeed in school, work, and life. Programs include:
- Adult Basic Education (ABE) – Improve reading, writing, and math
- Adult High School / GED Prep – Earn a diploma or GED
- ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) – Learn to speak, read, and write English
You’re eligible if you:
- Are 16 or older
- Are not currently in high school
- Don’t yet have a high school diploma
- Want to improve basic academic or English skills
