Get Involved

There are many ways you can champion the well-being of children and youth in foster care. Become a voice for our youth by donating your time and talents to the Voices For Children Foundation. You can also make a significant impact by becoming a foster parent or a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer.

Below are different ways to get involved and help children in foster care.

Join Be A Voice

Our annual membership program members provide unrestricted funding to ensure we can continue providing children in Miami-Dade's foster care system with quality Guardian ad Litem (GAL) representation and fully centralized access to services and resources to meet their needs.

Volunteer with VFC

Join a passionate team! Your volunteer efforts, whether in the office or at our signature events, are essential in furthering our mission.

Host a Drive

Our seasonal drives are essential for providing immediate support to children in foster care, while also raising awareness in our community about their needs.

Toy Drive

Get into the spirit and help ensure that every child in foster care has holiday cheer by participating in our annual holiday drive. Whether you drop off new, unwrapped toys and gift cards, purchase items from the Amazon Wishlist, or donate online so we can do the shopping for you, there are many ways you can bring our children holiday joy.

Help Stock Our Comfort Closet

Our Comfort Closet is a one-stop shop for advocates, families, and youth in care and aging out to access items that help meet their physical, social, and emotional needs.

Become a Foster Parent

Miami-Dade County urgently needs loving foster parents to provide temporary homes for children in the foster care system.

Sponsor A Youth Experience

We're passionate about providing our youth with experiences that encourage them to dream beyond their current circumstances. From college tours and mission trips to exciting outings like sporting events and cultural experiences, these opportunities broaden their perspectives and fuel their aspirations.

Volunteer as a Guardian ad Litem

Children in foster care need dedicated advocates to represent their best interests in the court room and the community. By advocating for an abused or neglected child, you give that child a voice — and a chance for a better life.
