Jay and Susan Shapiro

Jay and Susan Shapiro have been involved with Voices For Children for nearly 17 years. Driven by a powerful experience in Judge Cindy Lederman's courtroom in 2007, Jay joined Voices For Children's Board of Directors, dedicating himself to advocating for abused and neglected children. Since then, he has served as Chairman of the Board (for a three-year term) and continues to be a driving force on the Governance Committee.

 

Jay is also proud of his law firm’s involvement in supporting Voices For Children. Complimenting Jay’s personal commitment to Voices’ mission, his firm, Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., has been the presenting sponsor for our annual Be A Hero Luncheon every year since 2007. This partnership continues to the present day.

 

Together, Jay, Susan, and Jay’s law firm have been generous donors for the past 18 years, frequently sponsoring our annual Gala and other events. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in amplifying the voices of our community's most vulnerable children.
