Lance Breitstein

Lance Breitstein is one of Voices For Children’s major donors and a proud member of our Be A Voice annual membership program. Through his generosity, Lance provides vital funding that supports children in foster care through our four pillars: advocacy, essential needs, KINDship Care, and life-changing experiences.

 

Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Lance studied Finance at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business before excelling as Trillium’s top equity trader. In 2021, he left trading to dedicate himself to philanthropy. In 2018, he founded The Impact Competition, a nonprofit that empowers university students to create solutions for social issues—reflecting his deep belief in nonprofits as catalysts for lasting change.

 

Introduced to Voices For Children by his friend and board member, Victor Pulido, Lance was inspired by Victor’s story and the organization’s long-term impact. “The work being done at Voices For Children reverberates positively forever into the future,” he shares. “Like money, positive change compounds over time.”

 

Lance believes in a holistic approach—combining advocacy, essentials, and positive experiences to help children thrive. “Seeing what Victor has accomplished is the perfect example of what happens when children are shown love and given the right environment to succeed.”

 

He encourages others to give back, noting, “There are three ways to contribute: time, money, or wisdom. The world works best when we each take responsibility to make it a little better—and we become happier in the process.”
