Events
VFC events serve as the primary fundraising mechanism for advancing our mission of serving as the safety for Miami-Dade’s 1,500 children in foster care.
Every January, Voices For Children hosts its annual philanthropic Be A Voice Gala. The annual fundraising gala hosts over 400 members of the community and includes a cocktail reception, live auction and dinner. Guests hear the heartfelt testimonials and purpose behind our work.
Every fall, VFC and co-presenter Stearns Weaver MIller, convene Miami’s most philanthropic and influential constituents to raise funds to benefit the 1,400 abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Miami-Dade County’s foster care system.
Party For A Cause was created to help raise awareness and engage the next generation of philanthropic supporters. This unforgettable evening includes cocktails, food, entertainment, and dancing all while ensuring our community’s most vulnerable child population is protected.
Two Roads Construction and Development owner, Brad Meltzer, hosts an annual golf invitational at La Gorce Country Club benefitting Voices For Children Foundation and our work to safeguard the best interests of children in Miami-Dade County’s foster care system.
The Annual Back to School Event partners up with Old Navy and local sponsors to provide children in foster care with the opportunity to shop for clothes in addition to receiving gift cards for shoes and food.
This community-wide effort ensures that children in the dependency system receive a gift during the holiday season. Get into the spirit and help ensure that every child in foster care has holiday cheer by participating in our annual holiday drive.
