Jay Fritz
Board Member
Jay Fritz is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Strategist of The Northern Trust Company in the South Florida region. As a Wealth Strategist, he is responsible for working with affluent individuals, families and business owners in implementing investment, fiduciary and banking strategies by leveraging Northern Trust’s wide array of wealth management capabilities.
His diverse experience and background provide Jay with a great dynamic and technical skillset to bring to business owners.
Mr. Fritz joined Northern Trust in 2012 and brings over 15 years of experience in the financial industry.
Prior to joining Northern Trust, Jay was a First Vice President and Commercial Banker at SunTrust Bank. In this role, he was responsible for assisting the bank in growing market share in South Florida with an emphasis on mid to large size commercial companies. In addition to this role, Jay has also served as a Portfolio Specialist providing the credit analysis, financial forecasts and risk management recommendations for commercial relationships at the bank.
Jay earned his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech
and currently holds the series 7 and 63 licenses.
He is involved in several professional and not-for-profit organizations including: The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Executive Planning Committee board member for Leadership Miami, past board member of the Center for Financial Stability for the United Way and Advisory Board Member for Networking for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
He is married to his college sweetheart, Christine, who both share a passion for travel and food. They recently have embarked on a new adventure with the welcoming of identical twin girls. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and being outdoors.
