Blain L. Heckaman is the CEO of Kaufman, Rossin & Co.  Blain has provided audit and consulting services to businesses for more than two decades. Blain is also a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Indiana, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Interested in working with an organization that focuses on children, Blain joined Voices For Children’s Board of Directors in 2002.

“With Voices For Children, kids at risk have a chance to raise their quality of life,” says Blain, “Over the years, the GAL Program has demonstrated that children need certain resources which the GAL Program can provide. Children need someone who is focused on them. Being in non-loving environments creates a place where children will do what they must to survive. Statistics have proven that those who have had guardians benefit significantly.”
